Learn to Canoe/Kayak

Please note that we need a minimum of 20 participants for this activity to take place. If this number is not attained we will inform you of cancellation and issue a full refund.

Canoeing and kayaking are both popular water sports that involve paddling a small boat, either a canoe or a kayak, through water using a paddle. This activity will help you learn how to handle a canoe/kayak in a safe environment. Instructors will teach you the basic techniques of paddling and controlling a canoe or kayak in calm water safely. Learn-to-canoe-kayak is aimed at beginners with little or no experience. Participants will be paired on canoes and kayaks and will get a chance to select and experience both watercraft throughout the day.

Beginner Paddler: A beginner canoe/kayaker refers to someone who is new to the sport of canoeing or kayaking and has limited experience or knowledge about it. 

Intermediate Paddler: An intermediate canoe/kayaker refers to someone who has progressed beyond the beginner stage and has developed a solid foundation of skills and knowledge in canoeing or kayaking. Intermediate paddlers have gained experience on the water and are comfortable exploring a wider range of environments and conditions. 

Location PICK-UP: TRANSPORT INCLUDED via chartered school bus. Meet up Walmart Namur Metro 5400 Rue Jean-Talon O, Montréal, QC H4P 2H1

What to bring:
