CROSS-COUNTRY OAC SKI

Learning how to get around on an Cross-country OAC ski! A mix between a ski and a snowshoe, OAC skiing offers all the advantages of skiing without the disadvantages. Participants will have the chance to ski through the forest trails in Val-David.

Age: 12+

Location PICK UP: TRANSPORT INCLUDED via chartered school bus . Meet up Walmart Namur Metro 5400 Rue Jean-Talon O, Montréal, QC H4P 2H1

8:00am-3:30pm

What to bring:

• Dress in layers  3 layers Base layer (long sleeve dry fit or merino wool)  Mid layer (fleece or breathable sweater)  Outer layer (wind breaker, waterproof jacket) *Layer your clothing and dress in appropriate winter wear, avoid over dressing as this may cause you to sweat.
• Snow pants
• Gloves and Hat/ neck warmer
• Extra pair of gloves
• Extra pair of socks
• Light backpack or hip pack
• Water and light healthy snack
• Lunch for bus
