About the event
In collaboration with Rowing Canada. Discover the pleasure of rowing by learning and developing the basic skills and techniques: initiation on rowing machine, and on the water in modified skiffs (singles). Great intro course for teens 12+ and adults. This event is fully sponsored by Rowing Canada Aviron (membership fee)
This activity is FREE! However, a ticket must be purchased to reserve your spot(s). Refunds will be issued after the event, except for participants who do not attend.

All participants will need to complete a Rowing Canada registration and request to be members at their club. This can be done THROUGH THIS LINK. I have attached an instruction document if there are any issues trying to register (portion 2 dealing with Amilia is not necessary). Everyone can disregard the portion mentioning the $37 fee as it is sponsored by Montreal Rowing Club
Course Description:
Consists of one hour on the rowing machines and in the rowing tank to go over the basic movement, followed by being on the water with instruction. This would also include safety protocols, traffic patterns etc.
