Intro to Hiking (all ages): 

Have you ever wanted to explore the trails with your little ones, teens or simply for yourself? Don’t overthink it, as we say hiking is just walking on an incline.

Let’s hit Mont-Saint-Hilaire, the Gault Nature reserve owned by McGill University trails and discover the wonderful sites.

Mini-Explorers (Parents must be present) 3-8 years

Time for a little adventure and Scavenger hunt. Who said little ones can’t have fun on trails? They will learn hiking basics and explore all while having fun.

• 1h-1.5h Scavenger hunt & Hike
• 1 hour Lunch and snack
• Breaks along trail and at halfway point

Pre-Teen Explorers (Parents must be present) 8-11 years:

• Take a tour of Mont Saint Hilaires science lab and learn a little about conservation.          
  • Begin your adventure in the lab and end with a hike through the mystical forest.
  • 1 Hour Science Lab
  • 1 Hour Trail
  • 45 min Lunch
  • Breaks along trail and at halfway point

      

Beginner-Intermediate trail Hike:
