Who It’s For

Anyone who is curious about outdoor rock climbing. Anyone who would like to transition from indoor to outdoor rock climbing but has never climbed outdoors before - Anyone looking to improve their climbing skills from beginner to intermidiate. Beginners are more than welcome, even if you’ve never climbed before

Prerequisites

• None
• No experience needed
• Age minimum: 13 years old. 

Course Content

Essential climbing equipment - How to safely belay a climber - How to lower a climber - Learn knots and how to tie into the rope as a climber - Safety rules in the outdoor climbing environment - Communication in climbing - Climbing movement tips and techniques - Lots of climbing!

All technical equipment is provided and you will be safely supervised by a team of professionals accredited by the Fédération québécoise de la Montagne et de l’escalade (FQME). The duration of the activity is 3 hours.

**Please note a minimum of 6 participants are required for this activity to take place (48 hours prior to the event date). If the participant number is below 6, this event will be cancelled and participants will be fully reimbursed.
