Discover the pleasure of rowing by learning and developing the basic skills and techniques: initiation on rowing machine, and on the water in modified skiffs (singles). Great intro course for teens 12+ and adults.
This event is fully sponsored by Rowing Canada Aviron. 2day course, membership fee and parking covered.
All participants will need to complete a Rowing Canada registration and request to be members at their club. This can be done THROUGH THIS LINK. I have attached an instruction document if there are any issues trying to register (portion 2 dealing with Amilia is not necessary). Everyone can disregard the portion mentioning the $37 fee as it is sponsored by Montreal Rowing Club
- Day 1 would consist of one hour on the rowing machines and in the rowing tank to go over the basic movement, followed by 3 hours on the water instruction. This would also include safety protocols, traffic patterns etc.
- Day 2 would be more experience on the water, and include a variety of different boats and crew combinations depending on individual skill and comfort level.

- NO STRESS EXTRA PADS/WHEEL ON ROWING BOATS TO ASSURE YOU NEVER TIP IN THE WATER

What to Bring:
-Bring comfortable workout clothes (nothing too loose that might get caught in the equipment)
-Dress in light layers 3 layers (Base layer, Mid layer, Outer layer)
- Pack extra pair of socks
-PACK EXTRA CLOTHING IN CASE YOU GET WET
